Foresight CRM vs CarrotCRM (formerly InvestorFuse): Inbound or Outbound?

CarrotCRM is the best closer for inbound seller leads, and Carrot says so themselves. Foresight finds the sellers who never visit your website. Full comparison.

Leads that come to you, and leads you go get. Illustrative scene, not a ForesightCRM screenshot; the real one is further down.

TL;DR

CarrotCRM, formerly InvestorFuse, is built to close inbound leads from Carrot's websites, and Carrot states plainly that it does not do list stacking, direct mail, or driving for dollars. ForesightCRM is built for the opposite motion: county foreclosure filings, skip tracing, a power dialer, and deadline tracking for sellers who will never fill out your form. Many operators run both.

Carrot is unusually honest about what their CRM is for, which makes this an easy comparison to write fairly.

Straight from their own CRM page: "CarrotCRM doesn't do direct mail and list stacking and driving for dollars and … and … and … . It focuses on being the best CRM for working inbound leads (the ones who actually want to sell to you)." And their reasoning: "We believe that all-in-one solutions do many things, but rarely do any of them well."

That is a deliberate product philosophy, not an oversight. So this page is not a feature-gap scoreboard. It is about which half of the lead problem you are trying to solve.

What Is CarrotCRM?

CarrotCRM, formerly InvestorFuse, is Carrot's action-based CRM for closing inbound seller leads. Every lead always carries a next action with a due date, and the system suggests the next step. Plans are Free, $69, $179, and $349 per month for 1, 3, 5, and 10 users, with no setup fees. It pairs with Carrot's websites, which are the company's original and strongest product.

The InvestorFuse DNA survived the 2022 acquisition intact. Their help center puts it plainly: "Carrot CRM is action-based, meaning every lead will always have an action assigned to it unless it's dead or under contract." You cannot let a lead go quiet by accident, which is exactly the discipline most CRMs fail to enforce.

Their inbound engine deserves real credit, and I am not going to hedge it. Carrot claims over 4,000,000 inbound leads and more than $1 billion in customer revenue, that Carrot sites convert 7 times higher than other lead sources, and that 30 to 50 percent of top Google rankings for motivated seller keywords are Carrot sites. If your acquisition model is SEO and PPC, Carrot is probably the best choice in this category, and no comparison page should tell you otherwise.

Carrot advertises its Autonomous Lead Manager as SMS-based. Per their help center it "replies to leads on your behalf using text messages" and can escalate to a human with an intervention task. They do not advertise an AI voice caller.

What Is ForesightCRM?

ForesightCRM is an acquisitions platform for wholesalers and foreclosure investors. Every plan includes the power dialer, SMS cadences with compliance guardrails, and monthly skip trace credits, from $149 per month. County foreclosure, probate, and lien filings are available across 3,300 plus counties, sold per county, with auction and redemption deadlines tracked on the lead itself.

We are the other motion. Carrot's CRM is for people who raised their hand. Ours is for the owner who has no idea you exist, whose notice of default hit the county register this morning, and who has a limited number of days before someone else buys the house at auction.

Feature Comparison

Carrot wins the inbound half: websites, SEO tooling, lead capture, and a disciplined action-based follow-up model. ForesightCRM wins the outbound half: county data, skip tracing, a dialer, cold cadences, and foreclosure deadlines. The overlap is small enough that these read more like complements than rivals.

Pricing Breakdown

CarrotCRM is cheaper to start and can even be free, but the full Carrot stack adds up: a website plan at $119, a paid CRM tier, an AI add-on at $99, and a third-party phone system billed separately. ForesightCRM is $149 to $599 with the dialer and skip trace credits inside the plan.

Essential$693 users, contracts, enhanced reports
Scale$1795 users, workflows, transaction management, resurfacing

Enterprise$59915 seats, 15 numbers, 5,000 min, 5,000 SMS, white-label marketplace, 2,500 credits
The honest math: a three-person shop running Carrot's website plus Essential CRM plus the AI Suite is $119 plus $69 plus $99, which is $287 per month, and a phone system still bills separately. Foresight Growth is $299 with five seats, the dialer, and skip trace credits included, and county data billed per county. Similar money, aimed at opposite ends of the funnel.

Who Is CarrotCRM Best For?

CarrotCRM fits investors whose leads arrive through search, ads, and referrals, and who want a follow-up system that refuses to let a lead go cold. Paired with Carrot websites, it is the strongest inbound acquisition stack in this category.
  • Your leads come from SEO and PPC, and Carrot sites are how you get them
  • You want forced follow-up discipline, with a next action on every lead
  • You prefer focused tools over all-in-one platforms, which is their stated philosophy
  • You are starting out and a free CRM tier with your website matters
  • Your team is small and $69 for three users is the right price

Who Is ForesightCRM Best For?

ForesightCRM fits teams who generate their own leads from public records: pulling county filings, skip tracing owners, dialing and texting them compliantly, and working an auction or redemption deadline. If nobody is filling out your form yet, this is the other half.
  • County foreclosure, probate, and lien filings across 3,300+ counties
  • Skip trace credits in every plan, then $0.07 per credit; family uses up to 2
  • Power dialer included, no third-party phone system to buy
  • Auction and redemption clocks on the lead record from Growth
  • Compliant cold texting with quiet hours and consent trails

Not in the box:

  • Websites, SEO tooling, and inbound lead capture: not offered (Carrot's clear advantage)
  • Free tier: ours starts at $149 with a 14-day trial
  • AI Voice ($299) and AI SMS ($149): optional flat add-ons
  • Public API: Enterprise plan

The Honest Verdict

These are complements far more than competitors. Carrot brings sellers to you and closes them. Foresight goes and finds sellers who were never coming. If your website is quiet, no CRM fixes that. If your list is huge and nobody is calling it, no website fixes that either.

Choose CarrotCRM if...

  • Your acquisition model is inbound SEO and PPC
  • You already run or want Carrot websites
  • Follow-up discipline is your weak point
  • You want to start free or at $69
  • You prefer focused tools to all-in-ones

Choose ForesightCRM if...

  • You need to source sellers, not just close them
  • Foreclosure and probate timing drives your deals
  • Your team dials and texts lists daily
  • You want skip tracing and a dialer in one place
  • Auction and redemption deadlines matter

The Bottom Line

Carrot decided to be excellent at one half of this problem and said so out loud. I respect that, and it makes the choice cleaner for you.

If sellers are already finding you and the issue is what happens next, buy Carrot. If the issue is that not enough sellers are finding you, no follow-up system solves it, and going and getting them is the job. That is ours.

Start the 14-day trial and turn on a county. If you already run Carrot, keep it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is InvestorFuse still available?

Carrot acquired InvestorFuse in November 2022 and now sells the product as CarrotCRM, labeled on their own feature page as CarrotCRM, formerly InvestorFuse. Their pricing page states they are no longer selling new InvestorFuse subscriptions. Existing InvestorFuse accounts still work and investorfuse.com remains live, directing new signups to CarrotCRM.

How much does CarrotCRM cost?

As of August 17, 2026, CarrotCRM lists Free at $0 for 1 user, Essential at $69 per month for 3 users, Scale at $179 for 5 users, and Team at $349 for 10 users, with no setup fees. Their AI Suite is a $99 per month add-on. Carrot website plans are separate, starting at $119 per month, and the Free CRM tier is included with any web subscription.

Does CarrotCRM include a dialer or skip tracing?

CarrotCRM does not include a native dialer, and it does not advertise skip tracing. Carrot states it does not have its own phone system, so calling runs through connected dialing software. For SMS, paid plans provide a Twilio workspace number, while individual user texting numbers require smrtPhone or Dialpad. ForesightCRM includes a power dialer in every plan and monthly skip trace credits.

Does CarrotCRM have foreclosure or probate lists?

Carrot publishes educational blog content about probate and foreclosure investing, but does not advertise foreclosure, pre-foreclosure, probate, auction date, redemption period, or tax delinquent list sourcing as CarrotCRM features. Their property data comes from RealEstateAPI and covers the subject property, metered by plan.

Should I use Carrot and Foresight together?

That combination makes sense because the two products address different parts of the acquisition workflow. Carrot is the strongest inbound seller website and SEO platform in this category, so it fills the top of your funnel from search. Foresight sources distressed property from county records and works it outbound. They solve opposite halves of the lead problem.
